Sanilac County Animal Control Adoption Application NEW INFORMATION As our supporters are aware, we have featured Sanilac/Tuscola County Animal Control Shelter dogs and cats on our petfinder.com site for over 5 years. Citing complaints from potential adopters, Petfinder.com demanded that we remove Sanilac and Tuscola County Animal Control dogs and cats from the Jethro's Place petfinder site, even though the exposure on our site led to literally hundreds of adoptions. Those animals would never have found homes if left just on the Sanilac site because the way petfinder works is by zip code. Since the Sanilac and Tuscola shelters are out of the metro Detroit area, their animals do not appear on the most searched sites. We are reviewing options to find more exposure for Thumb area adoptable animals. Until we have a new service, please visit Sanilac and Tuscola County Animal Shelters to find a new pet.
